About
Gina creates paintings, drawings and prints working across media unhindered by technique, tools or labels.

Currently painting, collage and Ipad drawings are her chosen modes of expression exploring landscape, her local environment and the natural beauty of place in Tasmania her inspiration.
Steeped in research-based works and studio processes Gina is looking at universal questions. To see what happens at the edges. At the margins of projects. She is passionate about 'doing', exploring and constantly comes back to 'what if'.
She is influenced at present by many including William Kentridge, Tacita Dean, Elizabeth Gower, expressive drawing, mark making and mapping (the internal and external landscape). Inspired by David Hockney, Andy Warhol, the abstract expressionists and others.
Working daily some of Gina's achievements include solo exhibitions, opportunities for residencies, works in private collections locally, internationally and a finalist in major awards.
